Was very fortunate to find this brand & size Potanza since it is no longer manufactured. Due to the unique Potenza tread design mixing another brand tread design was Not recommended. Also it was a very fair price as ones on eBay were considerably more. The shipping was very prompt to my local tire service company who mounted the tire. Thank you Simple Tire...Peter Knoxvillle, TN
This review is for the Bridgestone Potenza G019 215/60/R16's. These are the worst tires I have ever had, on any car I've owned, and I've owned many. I got them at Firestone, and Firestone typically has little in stock that's affordable, except the Bridgestone garbage that they sell. After they were first installed, they were great. But after one rotation, I noticed a loud noise coming from the right front tire. It was so loud, I thought my bearings were going out, or some other catastrophic failure that would cost more money to repair. It was just the one tire that had been on the rear, and had worn unevenly, and all showed signs of cupping after less than 7k. They offered to switch two tires to put the noisy one back on the rear, but I said no. I listened to that god-awful noise until it was time to rotate again, thinking that after that, I'd get a quiet ride. NOPE! It was just as noisy as the last time. The major chain garage I take it to (NOT Firestone) said the only thing to do would be to replace the one tire, if I thought it was that annoying (they assured me the tire was still safe to use), or wait to replace them all. I waited, and the mechanic told me that the cord was showing on the inside of the two fronts. These tires didn't even have 40k on them yet.
Very hard tire, looks good but has a little road noise, in my post I put I would buy again because I couldn't write maybe. The price was right so I guess I can handle the noise, at first I thought is was my wheel bearings but after changing them I still had the noise. Simple Tire was great to deal with.
Thank you for having this tire in stock. I have used these tires for years and was need of one replacement. The speed of delivery exceeded my expectation. Thank you again.
Pretty loud. Not the best tires I have ever bought... a solid 6/10 though
