Put my 33's on my 1994 Jeep Wrangler - 4" lift kit and fuel rims - great ride in the city but better on the beaches in NC; nothing but BITE; never let the air out of the tires in the sand; surprisingly quite for as big as they are on the pavement - def recommend - 10 or if 10??'?
I live in Fl so no winter rating. Also haven't had my tires very long only a couple weeks so no tread wear. I ordered the 305/70/17 for my 2006 F150. Only a 2.5" level and no rubbing except a slight rub on my coil spring at weird angles. 1/4" wheel spacers fixed it nbd. NO TRIMMING. They ride great on the road. Even at higher speeds(55+) and they're not choppy at stops like some other MTs. The ride noise now is great. They hum but you can talk over them and it's not super loud. Off road was better than I expected. I figured they would be shovels in sugar sand but i rode most places in 2WD. Needed 4x4 for hills but that's to be expected. In the mud they clean very well and keep traction. Overall these are an excellent tire for a daily driver you might find yourself off road in on occasion. (Hunting/Trails/Etc) 10/10 WOULD recommend
None of this applies to your vehicle. I put these on a Polaris RZR. Top speed performance came back after replacing heavy SxS tires. Traction is excellent along with smoothness and noise is down. Hopefully they last for the rest of the life of the SxS.
Did great when other Jeeps had problem s.
These tires are great, good looking and have amazing tread . I would recommend to those who love off-roading , and want to give their truck that extra beast look. I drive from my unit a lot down SC and back to MaryLand and the tires are great on the road and when we go off-roading on weekends . 10/10 would buy again and go for these. Noise is loud at first (like any tire ) but is good after. Maxxis did a great job with these . Thank you.
I love these tires and you get your money's worth...
I put a set of 31x10.5x15 on my Can-Am Defender XMR Max HD10, and they are working great!!! I drive a lot of pavement and gravel roads and these things do the trick and are more comfortable than the extreme mud tires that come on it stock.
I've had the MAXXIS BUCKSHOT MUDDERS 35x12.5x15 on my jeep now for several hundred miles and an off road adventure consisting on some mud, rocks, trails. and misc. obstacles .....these tires performed great on and off road with little road noise and great handling......Great traction so far in all situations that I've been in ....
They ride and drive great!
Get technical:
The Maxxis MT-764 Buckshot II is a mud terrain tire that's built for use on Jeeps, light trucks, and SUVs. Featuring an aggressive tread design that improves traction in muddy and rocky conditions, the MT-765 Buckshot II's cut resistant tread and shoulder improves durability when driving off-road.
Features & Benefits
- Mud-terrain tread
- Black sidewall
- Reinforced 6-ply construction increases the load-carrying capacity of light trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs while moving fast through tough terrains
Mud-terrain tires are engineered to provide traction on uneven surfaces and have an appealing rugged look. Fortunately, the Maxxis MT-764 Buckshot II receives staggered shoulder lugs for strong traction on difficult terrain and features stone and mud ejectors that constantly clean the tread and generate high grip and performance. You may pin the tread blocks with studs (check for availability in your State) to get higher traction in harsh winter conditions. To prevent off-road damage, there are special shoulder compounds and cut-resistance treads. While siping, premium rubber compound, and increased tread depth provide better control in tough weather conditions, the symmetrical tread pattern and a jointless spiral-wound-cap-ply ensure a smooth and comfortable ride. No mud-terrain tire is complete without an appropriately designed sidewall, and the Maxxis MT-764 Buckshot II features an aggressive sidewall for the rugged experience.
