The VPG MP-1 (made by Vehicle Production Group) was the first purpose-built taxicab vehicle since the iconic Checker Marathon of a couple of generations ago. The boxy MP-1 was designed to accommodate a wheelchair and featured tough body-on-frame construction with a Ford Crown Vic drivetrain, with SE, DX and LX trim levels. General Grabber HTS or Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires would be OEM for this make/model.
